KANEKA Q10T: Manufacturing Method
Fermentation / Yeast Extract
There are 3 methods used for the manufacture of CoQ10: yeast fermentation, bacteria fermentation and chemical synthesis. Kaneka Q10 is manufactured using the fermentation method via extraction from yeast. This results in CoQ10 with an all-trans configuration, which is identical to naturally occurring CoQ10 found in meat, fish and other food products. Kaneka Q10 does not contain any cis-isomer which is found in CoQ10 manufactured via the chemical synthesis method.
